Hey, it’s Jason again. I tell you, as someone who works in the construction industry, this should really be easier. But unlike commercial installations and even solar panels, nobody has really made wind power cost effective for residential wind generators yet. I talked to all of my commercial contacts and tried to find the real solution, but didn’t really get anywhere.
I tried pulling some strings with the guys that did an alternative power project for one of the commercial buildings I built but the price tag was just way too high. The wind power installation costs were through the roof. No pun intended. I began to doubt the cost efficiency of wind power.
The advantages of wind power were clear. Clean energy, minimal environmental impact, minimal cost once the system is up and running. Clearly it’s one of the best alternative power sources. The technology behind it isn’t all that complicated so why on earth was wind power for homes so expensive?
Well, I got lucky! My friend at the green power company I talked about earlier gave me a call and told me about a company he had just found out about. They provided a great solution for residential renewable energy and I couldn’t wait to check it out. He had ordered a package from them and I made an appointment to come see what he found!
